Why we ask for a deposit
We introduced a $50 deposit after learning that a number of reserved appointments were missed. We prep the studio, block staff time, and often turn away other pet parents for that slot. The deposit simply keeps the calendar fair and the studio prepared.
It holds your time.
It’s your money: returned at the reveal or credited toward artwork.
Life happens: give 72-hour notice to reschedule and it stays intact.
No-shows may forfeit the deposit.
FAQ's
Where is your studio located?
Our home studio is located in Sedro-Woolley (very close to the border between Burlinton and Sedro-Woolley. We are 5-8 minutes away off the I-5 Highway off Burlington, WA.

Will my dog actually cooperate?
Totally normal worry. We photograph shy, nervous, wild, wiggly, and senior dogs every week. Sessions are built around positive reinforcement at your dog’s pace. If we don’t get at least one portrait you love, we’ll reschedule or refund your deposit—your call.
Can I be in a photo? Multiple dogs?
Absolutely—humans welcome. Additional dogs from the same household are okay! If 3 or more dogs please let us know as soon as possible to block off 1.5 hours instead of the normal 1 hour sessions.
How long is a session? What should I bring?
Typically about 45–60 minutes, but we go at your pup’s speed. Favorite treats, a toy, any cute accessories (bandanas, glasses), and a simple collar/leash. We’ll send a prep checklist.
Is there any obligation to buy more?
No. Your 8×10" artwork is our gift. If you want more, you’ll already know the pricing. Please scroll up to see the pricing.
How/when do I get my deposit back?
At the reveal Zoom you can apply the $50 toward artwork or choose full refund to your original payment method.
